ARMORISK is PT IFI’s integrated protection program: one door for Pest Control, Fumigation, and PJK3 Inspection & Testing, with one risk assessment, one field coordination, and audit-ready documentation. Its aim is to improve compliance, protect assets, and strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian exports.
Three divisions, one system
The three services do not stand alone. Each controls one side of the risk, and the results reinforce each other.
| Division | Role in the program | What it controls | Support for the other divisions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pest Control & Rodent Control | Ongoing prevention and control | Pests in facilities, warehouses, and storage areas | Keeps infestations down so the need for fumigation is measured. Field findings become risk data for the program. |
| Fumigation | Plant quarantine treatment (Barantin) and conveyance sanitation (Ministry of Health) | Hidden pests and quarantine requirements | Gives pest-free assurance at critical points, which Pest Control then keeps clean. |
| PJK3 Inspection & Testing | Verification of equipment and workplace safety | Equipment fitness and OHS compliance within scope | Makes sure the equipment and areas the other two divisions work in are fit and safe. |
How to read this. Pest Control prevents. Fumigation treats when prevention is not enough or treatment is mandatory. Inspection & Testing makes sure everything runs on fit equipment and safe workplaces.
Why the three depend on each other
- Pests that slip through increase the need for fumigation. Consistent pest control keeps commodities and warehouses clean before treatment.
- Fumigation carries safety risks. The gases used are dangerous to people, so areas, equipment, and work procedures must be controlled.
- Unfit equipment threatens every job. Inspection & Testing checks equipment so accidents and audit findings can be prevented.
- Separate documents make audits harder. With one system, reports from all three services follow one traceable flow.
Potential hazards we manage
Each service has its own hazards. Here is a general overview. The details for your site are set after assessment.
| Service | Potential hazard | Control |
|---|---|---|
| Pest Control & Rodent Control | Exposure of workers and occupants to control products. Contamination of food or clean areas. Pest-borne diseases. Work at height or in confined spaces. | Non-chemical methods first (IPM). Products chosen in line with regulations. Area marking and re-entry intervals. Personal protective equipment. Safe storage and disposal of products. |
| Fumigation | Toxic gas that can harm workers and bystanders. Leaks from seals. Some gases can be flammable or corrosive to certain materials. Exposure when the object is opened. | Trained, certified personnel. Sealing and marking of zones. Gas monitoring with detectors. Aeration and safety checks before reopening. Emergency response procedures. |
| PJK3 Inspection & Testing | Unfit equipment that causes accidents: falls, crushing, electric shock, fire, or explosion. Testing at risky sites. | Document and physical inspection.
